Attend the ECO-CRUISING FU_TOUR Capacity Building Programme by September 2024!

To achieve the project's goals in improving the blue economy and protect the marine environments, the ECO-CRUISING FU_TOUR design and deliver capacity building programme and the innovative composition of the eco-smart tourism package, targeting the following negative environmental impacts:

1. Marine degradation
2. Impacts from physical arrival of cruise ships
3. Air pollution

By the delivery of the online training programme, the project increase the knowledge and the skills of the private and public tourism stakeholders, with a specific focus on the above-listed negative impacts, increasing the competences and boosting the adoption of blue and green policy for environment preservation. 

The capacity building programme aims to give hands-on, practical and training programme around:

a) Sustainability Standards;

b)  Environmental and Natural Resource Infrastructure and Awareness;

c) Crisis and Emergency Management;

d) Transport and Traffic Control;

e) Green Skills

The project will be key in contributing to decrease the environmental and social impact of cruise tourism in the West Mediterranean region.
