The Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports promotes the cruise industry and unites the ports of ‘Mare Nostrum’ and its adjoining seas. The mission of MedCruise is to promote the cruise industry in the Mediterranean and its adjoining seas. The Association assists its members in benefiting from the growth of the cruise industry by providing networking, promotional, as well as professional development opportunities.

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber is the trade association of the Shipping Industry in Cyprus. Having witnessed considerable growth since its establishment in January 1989, with originally seventeen Founding Members, the Chamber today comprises approximately 200 major shipowning, shipmanagement, chartering and shipping related companies based either in Cyprus or abroad. Today, the Chamber’s Member-companies located in Cyprus and the wider Shipping Sector in Cyprus, collectively employ around 9000 persons ashore and more than 55,000 seafarers of various nationalities onboard their vessels.

The Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI) was established in 2006, with the goal to promote the development of a sustainable approach to tourism in Cyprus. 

CSTI's mission is to contribute to the development of sustainable tourism that conserves the environment, supports local economy and promotes local culture. CSTI has developed several projects which are aiming to demonstrate the benefits of sustainable tourism to the environment, the society and the economy, to promote local culture, to develop close links between local suppliers and hoteliers/operators, and to educate and inform the public regarding sustainability issues.

The city of Genova is actively involved in many research projects focused on resilience, safety and security, education and solidarity, green mobility, better quality of life, eco-sustainable growth and natural environment care, economy and employment, communication and promotion of the city, port and infrastructures, and city management.

The organization supports policies and practices that foster a secure, healthy, and sustainable cruise ship environment, promoting positive travel experiences for the more than 30 million passengers who have cruised annually. The CLIA community includes the world's most prestigious ocean, river, and specialty cruise lines; a highly trained and certified travel agent community; and widespread industry stakeholders, including ports & destinations, ship development, suppliers, and business services.

The Chamber, with more than 100 years of history, is one of the most representative institutions of Spain's civil society and a first-rate reference for the entrepreneurs of our regions.

The Girona Chamber of Commerce works to boost the competitiveness of the business and economic fabric of its region. It provides companies with resources for the ongoing improvement of their management.

The Chamber of Commerce Industry Services and Navigation of Málaga collaborates with companies in the region by offering aid to grow, export, innovate, incubator, business creation, etc.

Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation was created in 1886 to defend the general interests of its members and work for the common good of commerce, industry and the shipping sector.This local organization is composed of businesses and companies in Barcelona with the intention to develop and further the interests of local companies in Spain. Its main activities are, among others, safeguarding business interests and sharing business experiences and business interests, contact with governments, civil society, local media and the press and organizing trade shows and events.

Nestos Piraeus Group was formed in 1976 to provide reliable and professional ship services to all types of vessels in Piraeus port and throughout Greece. The company’s aim is to provide reliable services as agents and/or representatives of shipowners for their business and ships in Piraeus as well as other important shipping hubs. Nestos Piraeus Shipping Agency has been serving all types of vessels and handling port operations for more than 40 years.

Kapa Shipping Agency, situated in Heraklion, Greece, specializes in providing comprehensive services as Shipping Agents and Brokers. This organisation operates not only in the central region of Heraklion, Crete but also extends its expertise to the area of Agios Dimitrios in Heraklion Crete. With a strategic presence in these locations, Kapa Shipping Agency is committed to delivering reliable and efficient solutions in the maritime industry.

iWORLD is a Third Sector body and non-profit association whose members represent over 100 Sicilian municipalities. The Association has also signed partnership protocols with UNESCO National Commissions and Ministries of various Mediterranean countries, in order to activate collaboration on sustainable local development, based on local identities.

The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Seville, created on June 13, 1886. The purpose of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville is the representation, promotion and defense of the general interests of Commerce, Industry and Navigation, and the provision of services to companies. Likewise, it is configured as a consultative and collaborative body with Public Administrations, before which it presents itself as an institution that represents the general interests of companies.

CGEM is the voice of the private sector in Morocco. Founded in 1947, it represents more than 90,000 direct and affiliated members, 95% of which are SMEs.


It has established itself as the official representative of the private sector vis-à-vis the public authorities, social partners and institutional bodies.
